I love this book so much and I understand why it's such a famous classic. For one, I greatly appreciated the journey of the plot and how it reminded me of those chill but impactful movies where it's just people living life and there is no predetermined climax/plot mountain. The book was so good it was turned into a movie 7 different times; each one better than the last. The vocabulary and style of the book proves it deserves to be called quaint but not feminine, for all the main female characters are strong, smart women who were raised by a loving family. It is narrated straightforwardly while also leaving room for our own imaginations and inferences, which aren't always correct. I think one of the reasons this amazing book is so popular is because it has a timeless theme and a little bit of everything to please everybody. And although some of the romance triangles are a bit unsettling, they all work out in the end. The book tells the tale of young ladies maturing and realizing what womanhood actually means, with the passage of much time and immaculate character arcs. But I'd have to say I like Amy's growth as a person the most because we see her go from the youngest, spoilt child to an ambitious and grateful woman who carries out her dreams. I won't say more for fear of spoiling the fun, but this is worth 5 stars.

Recommendation

You really need to read this book. Little Women is a classic for a reason and anybody who picks it up can admire its beauty. I also had a fun time seeing peoples' reactions when they saw how big the book was. But seriously, this book is worth reading and I promise you won't regret trying it!
